We know that seeing the campus is an important part of your decision about where to study. ?Our Saturday 27 June event will be a virtual Open Day, with all of our tours, talks and subject information all brought to you online. Currently our Winter?Open Days are running as planned.

During our virtual Open Day?we welcome?everyone to experience a day in the life of a university where you'll be known by name, not just as a number.???

We will host online presentations, videos from our lecturers and live chat so you can fully explore all of the subject areas we have to offer.?

Want to see the campuses? We bring our beautiful campuses, accommodation and facilities?to you via videos and our interactive virtual tour.?

We will also have videos and presentations?from our Finance, Student Support, Admissions, Accommodation and our Students' Union teams.?

This is your opportunity to ask our staff anything to ensure you make the right decision for your future. People really matter here and we hope you get a sense of what we can offer you by coming to one of our Open Days.

HOW DO I BOOK AN OPEN DAY?

Open Days can be booked by completing our?online booking form.

Once booked, we will send you all of the details via email.

HOW DO I CONFIRM I HAVE BOOKED ONTO AN OPEN DAY?

For the virtual Open Day on 27 June, you will receive a booking confirmation email, and then a link to the virtual Open Day on the Saturday morning.

For our autum Open Days, you will receive?a booking confirmation email with your own unique QR code which you need to scan at registration to confirm your arrival.

Can’t find your booking confirmation? No need to worry, you can email us at?studyhere@chi.ac.uk?and we'll resend a copy.

Top tip:?Make sure you add us as a 'Safe Sender' in your email settings and check your Junk mailbox just in case!?

HOW DO I ACCESS THE VIRTUAL OPEN DAY IN JUNE?

Once you have booked on via our Open Day booking form, you will be sent a link on Saturday 27 June which will lead you to the Open Day website.?

HOW TO FIND US

With fantastic transport links and A roads we are easy to get to.?

Winchester: under an hour’s drive and just over an hour on the train.

Portsmouth and Southampton:?less than a 20?minutes’ drive from Portsmouth and 40 minutes from Southampton, straight along the A27. Both are on the same train route which is under an hour from Southampton and less than 30 minutes from Portsmouth.

London:?Most trains from the North of England will come through London, where there are trains to Chichester and Bognor?Regis from London Victoria every hour.

HOW LONG DOES AN OPEN DAY TAKE?

Around three to four hours depending on what you want to see.

You will be able to do campus and accommodation tours during this time, attend talks about our courses, accommodation, student finance and an introduction to the University, speak to current students and meet academics and student support teams one-to-one.

Make sure you plan your day before you arrive so that you don't miss anything important!

A VISITOR IN MY GROUP HAS A DISABILITY, HOW WILL THIS AFFECT MY VISIT?

Here at the University of Chichester we are committed to providing equal opportunities for all students and visitors. All subject stands and talks are located in wheelchair accessible rooms, and both campuses have wheelchair friendly campus tour routes.?

We have plenty of designated disabled parking spaces on both campuses.

IS THERE VISITOR PARKING ON CAMPUS?

Parking is available on both campuses (free, based on first come, first served), plus there are alternative public parking options nearby (Oaklands Pavillion, PO19?6BB and Northgate, PO19?6AA for Chichester and London Road, PO21 1BA. Both campuses are accessible?by bus and train - please see our?how to find us?page?for further information.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING WITH ME ON THE OPEN DAY?

There is no limit to the number of guests you bring with you to an Open Day; some visitors will bring family and friends, while others may attend alone. It is okay to bring more guests than originally indicated on your booking form.

WILL I BE ABLE TO GET ADVICE ABOUT COMPLETING MY UCAS APPLICATION?

Yes, we will have staff available on both campuses from our Admissions office, able to offer advice and guidance on completing your UCAS form, personal statements and interviews.

HOW LONG DO THE SUBJECT TALKS TAKE?

45 – 60 minutes, depending on the course. Check out the programme so you can plan your day.

I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO ATTEND THE OPEN DAY. HOW CAN I ARRANGE ANOTHER VISIT?

We have a number of different opportunities for you to visit the University, either before or after you apply. There may be another Open Day which is more convenient for you; if you would like to change your booking, please email?us at?studyhere@chi.ac.uk.

If you are unable to attend another Open Day, we run regular?campus tours?of both campuses. If you are unable to attend either a scheduled Open Day or campus tour, please call us on (01243) 816464?to arrange a personal visit.
