Symptoms

The most common symptoms of coronavirus?are recent onset of:

  • New continuous cough and/or
  • High temperature

For most people, coronavirus?will be a mild illness.

In line with Government ?advice, if?you have either or both of these symptoms, as a precautionary measure,?you will need to?self isolate, in case these are symptoms of?coronavirus. Please refer to the Public Health England?website for the most up to date information. This page will be constantly updated?in line with any changes to Government policy.

Sensible precautions to take to stay well

  • Washing?your hands effectively, using soap and water. This is still the best way to eradicate germs?on your hands.
  • Hand gels should?be used when soap and water is not immediately available, for instance after sneezing.?
  • Use tissues, especially?when sneezing or coughing and flush them away after use.?
  • Do not share water bottles, and if using the water dispensers keep any bottles clear of the tap when refilling.?
